NANA’S NEST – Summer Cottage Rental

Cozy, quiet, and rustic are a few words to describe this charming cottage located on the southern tip of Lake Winnipesaukee in Alton Bay, NH. Get away with your spouse and/or family for a relaxing vacation and create memories that will last for years to come.

This family-friendly two-story cottage has a large wrap-around screened-in porch, sleeps 5-7, and has a bathroom with a shower. The second story has two semi-private rooms and sleeps 5 (2 full beds & 1 twin). There is also a futon on the first floor and another futon on the screened-in porch for additional sleeping options. Recent cottage updates include a totally new kitchen in 2018 and new exterior windows in 2019.

The cottage is located on the campus of the Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center and renters will be able to participate in all of the programs and activities happening on the grounds.  Some of those include family-oriented activities, concerts, Bible studies, and Sunday Worship Services. While the cottage is nestled into a quiet wooded area along a walking path, it is very close to the beach, Tabernacle, and campground activities.

Why do families love vacationing at Nana’s Nest?  This location is the perfect place to bring families!  The private beach is a short walk away with lifeguards on duty, a snack bar & grill, a playground, and lots of new friends to play with. Hiking trails, ice cream, and mini golf (among other things) are minutes away too! Many couples/families use this location as a base for day trips to the various attractions in the New Hampshire Lakes Region and beyond.

Rental Details

• 2023 Rental Rate (July 8 through August 26):  $675 per week ($325 deposit) plus a $125 Cleaning Fee. The Cleaning Fee will be returned if the cottage is left neat and tidy with no damages.
• Nana’s Nest is normally rented from Saturday to Saturday during the months of July and August. Rentals at other times can be more flexible and are reduced in price. Contact us for weekly, weekend, or nightly rates and availability during these other times.
• Please bring your own towels, linens, and paper products.
• Nana’s Nest is a pet-free, smoke-free, alcohol/drug-free cottage according to the rules of the conference center.
